Marina The Marine Explorer tells the story of Scuttle The Crab. When Lucy gets into a pickle on the beach, she asks a funny looking crab for help. Lucy doesn't know that Scuttle The Crab longs to be human. Can Lucy make his dreams come true? Should Scuttle The Crab be careful what he wishes for? Marina needs some help to make life in the rock-pools good again for everyone.

An original and delightful comedy show with the chance for the audience to help save the day. Art materials provided.

Award winning comedian Joanna Neary starred in two CBBC series So Awkward as Mrs Jones The Librarian, appeared in Young Dracula and My Mad Fat Diary, and has made many successful stage shows for children in recent years.

Our kids loved getting involved and it was entertaining for the whole audience. Highly recommended.

Character comedian Jo Neary (Mrs Jones in CBBC’s So Awkward) brings her observational brilliance and off-kilter wit to this interactive puppet show for children.

Marina the cleaner is due to present a talk ‘Housework World. Tidying Fun for All the Family’. But her sensible conference is thrown into messy chaos with the impending arrival of Lady Peggy Valerie Mallory, Patron of The Arts.

Marina is joined in her mission by a cast of characters, and children are encouraged to take part if they like. Using improvisation, songs and stories, the show is about what it is to be creative, looking at art and being in a gallery.

An original and delightful comedy show with the chance for the audience to help save the day. Art materials provided.

We liked the mermaid best and creating something fun

All materials provided.

A mermaid tells the story of Prince Fred who one day magically turned into a stinky, funny-looking crab.The Crab Prince makes lots of friends in the rock pools, many of them even funnier looking than he is. They have a great life together, making up games and having races. Then one day a little child called Sandy comes along and asks the Crab Prince for help. 

At last, the Crab Prince has a chance to break the spell. 

But something is wrong... he needs to get back to the rock pool and only you can help him.

Booking is essential. Please book CHILDREN'S PLACES ONLY HERE, as many grown ups can accompany them on the day as you like. We just need numbers of children so we can ensure they have all the materials they need for the art activity. Thank you.

Jo Neary (seen as Miss Jones the Librarian in CBBC's So Awkward Series 1 & 2) presents a comedy show with puppets for all ages.

There are two show on the same day; at 12pm and again at 2pm. Both shows are 50 minutes long.

Residents of Devonshire West can book places for free. Call Devonshire Collective on 07845 731281 to book. Or call by for a free paper ticket. Just bring along proof of residence on the day.
